"No Ho Ho" is what Savannah Kate was screaming during this picture.  As you can tell, she wasn't very fond of Santa.  Better luck next year!  I will have this framed every Christmas :)

Our Thanksgiving

Since we visited with our families a week before the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided it was best to stay home this year and have our own Thanksgiving with just the three of us.  Luckily, I got some practice while I was home cooking some Thanksgiving type meals!  I spent the entire day cooking by myself and I'm proud to say that it turned out great - we just had way too much food :) 

 

 

I can't take credit for cooking this turkey, it was a gift and pre cooked!

 

It was a happy Thanksgiving with so much to be thankful for!

Pre Thanksgiving Visit

SK and I went to visit my family the week before Thanksgiving.  She had so much fun playing with her cousin Channing and pretending like she was a baby.  She wanted to do everything Channing was doing and her baby doll too :)

 

My sister and I created this lovely Thanksgiving feast all by ourselves.  We were very proud!

We got to have a mini family reunion when my cousin Clint came by with his three girls!

Halloween 2012

The Backyardigans is Savannah Kate's favorite show by far.  She loves the movies, books, stickers and just about anything about them.  Her favorite character on the show is Pablo, who happens to be a boy. He's blue, so I'm assuming he is a boy, but SK doesn't really know that.  I debated for awhile about what she should be for Halloween and decided that she had to be Pablo.  Yes, everybody thought she was a boy, but it was okay because she was so happy in her Pablo suit! Plus, she gets to wear it all the time now for dress up :)

SeaWorld San Antonio

For Savannah Kate's 2nd birthday, we wanted to give her a fun family trip instead of presents.  She has plenty of toys and it was a great excuse to get away with just the three of us.  It was a quick trip down to San Antonio, but enough time to explore the River Walk for dinner Friday night and then Sea World on Saturday. Savannah Kate had so much fun at Sea World seeing all the fish.  Her favorite thing was the shows, mine too!
