First Birthday Party

Savannah Kate's first birthday was a nursery rhyme theme.  I had so much fun planning for this party and matching nursery rhymes with food and decorations.  Of course, the first party had to be a big deal!  We were so blessed to celebrate with family, old friends, and our new Texas friends and neighbors.  Savannah Kate had a great time eating cake, playing with her friends and opening her presents.  Here are the party pictures:

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Hickory Dickory Dock
Itsy Bitsy Spider
Mary Mary quite contrary, How does your garden grow?
What are little girls made of?Sugar and spice and everything nice
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Pat-a-cake, Pat-a-cake Baker's Man
This little piggy
Playing with her friends
Opening my present from my cousins
Later that afternoon we let Savannah Kate open all her birthday gifts.  It was so fun!  It gave me a glimpse of what Christmas morning will be like :)  Thank you for all the gifts!

  1. Katie, this was such a cute idea for the party! I love all of the pictures. I CAN NOT BELIEVE that she is already 1! Time flies! We were hoping to go to the party but Samuel had an ACH check up a few days before...and it would have been too much traveling. Hopefully we will get to see you guys soon. :)
