Halloween 2012

The Backyardigans is Savannah Kate's favorite show by far.  She loves the movies, books, stickers and just about anything about them.  Her favorite character on the show is Pablo, who happens to be a boy. He's blue, so I'm assuming he is a boy, but SK doesn't really know that.  I debated for awhile about what she should be for Halloween and decided that she had to be Pablo.  Yes, everybody thought she was a boy, but it was okay because she was so happy in her Pablo suit! Plus, she gets to wear it all the time now for dress up :)

SeaWorld San Antonio

For Savannah Kate's 2nd birthday, we wanted to give her a fun family trip instead of presents.  She has plenty of toys and it was a great excuse to get away with just the three of us.  It was a quick trip down to San Antonio, but enough time to explore the River Walk for dinner Friday night and then Sea World on Saturday. Savannah Kate had so much fun at Sea World seeing all the fish.  Her favorite thing was the shows, mine too!

Pumpkin Patch

The Dallas Arboretum is one of my favorite places to visit here.  Especially when they have the pumpkin patch, there are thousands of pumpkins and SK loved climbing on them all.  It's been such a great place to take Savannah Kate - I can turn her loose and let her run!  Usually that means I'm running after her most of the time, but since there is so much to look at she doesn't run too far.  On Mondays they had a petting zoo and a Kindermusik class that the kids loved.  Here are some pictures from a few of our visits this fall.

SK's 2nd Birthday Party

Savannah Kate's 2nd birthday party was such a fun day!  Her party had a sunflower/fall theme.  We had plans of having this party at the park, but a cold front came through and we moved it to our house.  SK wore an adorable sunflower outfit and had so much fun playing with her friends.  She loved it when everybody sang Happy Birthday and started clapping.  She got several really fun gifts (a kitchen, dress up clothes, a vacuum, the Cinderella movie to name a few) but if I had to pick I would say her favorite gift was the Pablo doll :) She truly never gets tired of Pablo! 

What a blessing!  A big thanks to our family (who had to drive a long way) and our friends who made us feel so loved.  Thank you so much for all your support during these last two years!
